Makiko completed Yoga Alliance teacher training certification through Lila Yoga with her teacher, Shinsuke Nyui in Tokyo in 2015. Her passion for yoga is toward integrating ancient yoga wisdom into daily life. She loves to share love of yoga with youth and adults, and in international environments. She teaches yoga in Japapanese in San Jose area and also teaches children in English as a volunteer in her local community. Her interests include cooking, wine, and going to beaches. She is a mom of 2 daughters.
