Do you find combing your daughter's long hair stressful or fun?!

Yes, it used to be such a stressful time for me. Both of my daughters (10 and 5 years old) like to grow their hair. Every day, when I try to comb their hair,

"Auch!! That is too painful, Mama!! Please be more gentle!!"

"I know. I am trying my best. This is so stressful. Why don't you cut your hair short, so it is easy!!!"

These were our typical conversations, but not any more!!

Because I found this DIY receipe.

Wow this works nice and smooth! Actually the fun part is making this spray with my daughters. And natural aroma is so much more healing than you could imagine!

Ingredients:

Distilled water Appropriate amount

How to make:

Put coconut oil glycerin, essential oils into a spay bottle. Add some amount of distilled water and shake well. Fill the bottle with distilled water. Spray on hair and comb.

*Please note that the above recipe is the recipe that I customized to my family's needs. The original recipe only uses Lavender oil but my older daughter doesn't enjoy the aroma of Lavender alone so I blended with Frankincense. I also substituted coconut oil for vitamin E oil.
